The Caterpillar 963D is a large track loader rated at 189hp and an operating weight of 45,128 lbs. The fuel injected, turbocharged 6.6 liter diesel engine boasts superior performance yet has increased fuel economy and reduced emissions to meet stricter emissions standards.
Standard bucket capacity is 3.2 cubic yards with a width of 102.8”. The track width is 21.6” to provide greater stability on uneven or loose terrain. The hydraulic system provides an output of 55.2gpm. Fuel capacity is 108.8 US gallons
The operator cabin has been designed for improved comfort and convenience. Two front and two rear lights are standard for increased visibility. Tinted glass surrounds the cabin providing a glare free view of the bucket, tracks and rear. Air conditioning and heating is also standard on the 963D. The transmission speed switch can instantly be changed from work mode to travel mode for greater control and immediate response.
