The company was founded on the completion of the first hydrostatic Skid Steer Loader. Today, Thomas Equipment, Inc. manufactures and distributes a full line of Skid Steer and Mini Skid Steer loaders to meet many industrial and construction needs and is still operated by the Thomas family.
Thomas Equipment, Inc. has approximately 110 emplyees in their Centerville location, and has just recently made an arrangement to work with Guizhou Jonyang Kinetics (GJK) to close down their Canadian plant. GJK has been carefully selected to maintain the high quality that the Canada-based Thomas Equipment, Inc. has produced. GJK is a major producer of excavators and other related heavy equipment.

Thomas' 137, 000 square foot facility integrates metal fabricators, laser cutting, state-of-the-art CNC lathes, boring and milling machines as well as high technology welding equipment to ensure high tolerance metalworking and finishing. Thomas conforms to the highest quality assurance specifications in the world for military and commercial manufacturing, able to meet AQAP, SAE, CSA and ISO standards.
