Terex was established in Hudson, Ohio in 1957 as a division of General Motors, the General Motors Euclid Division. Though the original Terex plant closed in the late 1980s, Terex has continued to grow and improve over the years. Now the Terex Corporation is a global manufacturer of a broad range of heavy equipment for a variety of industries, including quarrying, recycling, surface mining, refining, construction, infrastructure, shipping, transportation, utility and maintenance. DUECO, the largest privately owned final stage manufacturer of Terex Utilities and Hi-Ranger products in the United States, has issued a purchase order to Odyne Corporation for installation of Odyne’s propulsion technology into an aerial lift truck which will be displayed at the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) on October 16 – 18 2009 in Louisville, Kentucky.
