E-Z-GO is a golf car and utility vehicle company based in Grovetown, Georgia. E-Z-GO was started in 1954, by Billy and Beverly Dolan and was acquired by Textron in 1960. Textron is a global, multi-industry company which has various market-leading operations in aircraft, industrial, and finance, and includes companies and brands such as Cushman, Jacobsen, Bell Helicopter, Cessna Aircraft, Kautex, Lycoming and Greenlee.
E-Z-GO has the largest sales and service network in the industry, with more factory branch locations and independent distributors than any other manufacturer. E-Z-GO's industrial general utility models include the Industrial 800 which has a payload rating of 800 lbs, the Industrial 1000 which has a payload rating of 1000 lbs, and the Industrial 1200 which has a payload rating of 1200 lbs.
E-Z-GO's industrial heavy duty models include the Industrial 640 which is a durable stock chaser and features a 29 x 48 inch cargo deck and a 1000 lb payload capacity. The Industrial 835 has a fold down seat for an additional passenger and a small cargo deck for moving tools and materials. This is an ideal vehicle for moving across facilities quickly, and with small loads. The Industrial 875 is a heavy duty vehicle and is available in a 2 passenger model with a 36 volt or 48 volt powertrain, or a 4 passenger model with a 36 volt powertrain.
